I was disappointed. The story is compelling to start. but then gets bogged down in some convoluted plot devices. It’s a stretch to buy into the whole Nicholas Bell situation and believe that he is a credible bad guy. Additionally, I didn’t care about Bailey. She’s just a whiny spoiled girl and Hannah is over the top in indulging her – to the point that I didn’t care about either of them after awhile. I was glad when I got to the end of the book. In the end, it was much ado about not a whole helluva lot.
I agree. However, the ending moved this hard nosed reader to tear up.
I agree with John messenger. Didn’t like Bailey or Hannah. The worst book EVER,
Loved the book. Looking forward to the series or movie.
