What’s it about? What’s the plot?
Kevin Kwan (known for Crazy Rich Asians) has described Sex and Vanity as being very loosely based off of E. M. Forster’s Room with a View, except starring jet-setting Asian people and a modern setting. Lucie Churchill (part Chinese, part Caucasian) sets eyes on George Zao and dislikes him instantly, but she nonetheless ends up struggling to keep him out of her mind and heart.
Sex and Vanity was released in June 2020.
What format will it be? Will the Sex and Vanity adaptation be a Movie or a Series?

Who’s behind it?
Sony Pictures and SK Global have optioned the film rights to Sex and Vanity. Kevin Kwan will serve as a producer for the adaptation.
