Who’s behind it?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Huge is being developed by Disney’s Freeform studio, a youth programming-oriented studio that Disney acquired as part of the Fox 21 deal. The adaptation is being executive produced by Ilene Chaiken and Jennifer Beals, who both previously collaborated on the TV series The L Word. Ilene Chaiken is also an executive producer for Empire and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Book author Taylor Jenkins Reid is penning the adaptation.
