Black Leopard, Red Wolf is the first part of a fantasy trilogy rooted in African mythology about Tracker, a mercenary with a heightened sense of smell who is hired to find a missing boy. Amid warring kingdoms and political upheaval, he finds himself part of a group of others who are also looking for the boy who disappeared three years ago.
The book was released on February 5, 2019, and the acquisition of the film rights to the book was announced the next day.

Who’s behind it?
Michael B. Jordan‘s Outlier Society production company and Warner Brothers have obtained the film rights. Jordan’s Outlier Society is a production company that has committed to and continues to promote diversity and inclusion in Hollywood.
